About the Course

Get hands on-experience in constructing, building and interpreting relationships between organisms using molecular data. With modern computational tools from R and BASh, you will be able to reproduce and interpret high fidelity phylogenetic trees that have being reported in Nature and Cell papers. In your final project, you will use phylogenetic trees to either tract evolution of a virus (COVID-19) or recommend potential drug targets for complex cancers.
